In a nut shell, I love this series. It probably
one of the best animated OVA series and it does one of the best jobs at
combining humor and romance together without resorting to stupid pranks
or painful humor. It is just a nice piece of anime that is a good change
of pace from everything else that is out there in the anime world.
The series revolves around a harried engineering student (Keichi) who inadvertently
dials up a goddess (Belldandy) instead of a take out Chinese restaurant.
When offered one wish by Belldandy he prompts asks that she stay with him
and amazingly enough the wish is granted. Humor ensues as Keichi tries
to figure out what he is going to do now with his own goddess, her two
sisters (Urd and Skuld), and his kid sister who all decide to move in with
him. A movie is in the works, but it has been repeatedly delayed. It is
also believed that a fourth goddess (Peroth) present in the manga will
be present in the movie.
