Another anime featuring a more than human female android in a suspense, action, mystery. The next generation androids are the closest thing to human being that mankind has ever created. Unfortunately, they are now being systematically murdered on Mars. The only people who have a chance of figuring out what is going on is a cute little next generation android detective (Armitage) and her new cyborg partner from Earth (Ross). Unfortunately, each is carrying a load of emotional baggage that may make it impossible for them to work together and the quest for the reason why these murders are occurring will involve secrets at the highest levels of government. Secrets that the government will do anything to stop from being revealed.

        This was released as a four part OVA that has seen been consolidated into one movie. The style is a bit interesting, since the two main characters are done in almost completely opposing styles. Armitage character design is a traditional female anime design while the Ross character design is more western in my opinion. I still find it hard to adjust to seeing both styles simultaneously in the same shot. Still, the OVAs are quite good and worth watching at least once.
