A rather interesting 3 part OVA series that never seemed to make it big in the US even though it is quite decent. The series is sci-fi nature and is set on Gaiarth, a world devastated by a cataclysmic war. The few remaining pockets of humanity struggle to survive amidst the rubble of technologies made magical by ignorance and the continuing conflicts of artificially intelligent machines doggedly pursue their programmed imperatives ( to either protect or destroy humanity).
        Into this world steps,  Ital del Labard (a young man raised by an aging War-roid), Sahari (the leader of a band of Junk-Hunters), and Zaxxon (an amnesiac War-roid who may be a link to the fabled past). Together they must confront the General who wants to use a device that almost ended the world the first time to dominate the world - or destroy it in the attempt.
